Charles R. Bamford, Managing Partner
Charles Bamford co-founded Rockwood Energy Search LLC in 1986. Since then, he and the firm have specialized in energy-related recruiting in the United States.
Prior to Rockwood, Charles was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the John Todd Organization. This firm designed and implemented executive benefit plans for Fortune 500 clients.
Earlier, he was Vice President, Sales and Marketing of Standard & Poor’s Corporation, and Director of Marketing and Application Software for Computer Sciences Corp.’s Infonet Division. His first exposure to the energy/petrochemical business was at Shell Oil, where he was a product manager and industrial marketer of petrochemicals.
In addition to his line and staff responsibilities, Charles worked as a consultant for the firm of Douglas Williams, a pioneer in the field of attitude research. In this firm, he participated in a number of client engagements on organizations and their effectiveness.
He has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA in Quantitative Methods from The Stern School of Business at New York University.
Shestine M. Montone, Research Associate
Shestine Montone has been a key member of the research team since 2004, and works on a wide variety of searches, especially on assignments in quantitative analysis, structuring, and wholesale power trading.
She interacts with clients on key searches, and she directs the development of Rockwood’s databases and candidate management system.
Prior to Rockwood, Shestine worked as a Computer Based Instruction developer and graphics specialist for a life insurance firm. She has a degree in Psychology from Montclair State University.
Susan Meehan, Research Assistant
Susan is a member of the research team at Rockwood, supports the management of the firm’s databases, and is involved in searches and assists with client support. She joined us in 2010.
She has over ten years of Human Resource generalist experience and has successfully recruited both technical and management professionals of all levels at Wausau Insurance Companies and Nationwide Insurance. She also supported the administration and implementation of an employee relations program at AIG.
Susan has experience in benefits administration and compensation as well as training and development. She has a BS in Management from Seton Hall University.
