Staff Bios
Charles R. Bamford, Managing Partner
Charles Bamford co-founded Rockwood Energy Search LLC in 1986. Since then, he and the firm have specialized in energy-related recruiting in the United States.
Prior to Rockwood, Charles was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the John Todd Organization. This firm designed and implemented executive benefit plans for Fortune 500 clients.
Earlier, he was Vice President, Sales and Marketing of Standard & Poor’s Corporation, and Director of Marketing and Application Software for Computer Sciences Corp.’s Infonet Division. His first exposure to the energy/petrochemical business was at Shell Oil, where he was a product manager and industrial marketer of petrochemicals.
In addition to his line and staff responsibilities, Charles worked as a consultant for the firm of Douglas Williams, a pioneer in the field of attitude research. In this firm, he participated in a number of client engagements on organizations and their effectiveness.
He has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA in Quantitative Methods from The Stern School of Business at New York University.
Shestine M. Montone, Research Associate
Shestine Montone is a member of the research team at Rockwood and manages the firm’s website and databases.
She has had four year’s experience with Rockwood on various types of energy searches including quantitative analysts, structurers, traders and originators.
Prior to Rockwood, Shestine worked as a Computer Based Instruction developer and graphics specialist for a life insurance firm. She has a degree in Psychology from Montclair State.
Susan J. Wojtkowski, Research Associate
Susan is a member of the research team and handles client support as well.
She has worked in Human Resource management and recruiting in manufacturing, healthcare and the legal profession. She has successfully recruited a wide variety of professional, technical and executive personnel at the legal firm of Stark & Stark, at McFaul & Lyons, a consulting firm, and at Roche Biomedical Labs.
Susan also has experience in the design and administration of wage, salary and variable pay programs, and in developing new employee orientation plans. She has a B. A. from the College of New Jersey.
